UPCOMING MEETING
P³G Annual Meeting
"Harmonization in Practice: A Platform Based on 50 Studies from 18 Countries"
April 26 and 27, 2010

Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel
900 Rene Levesque Blvd. W
Montreal, Quebec Canada H3B 4A5

REGISTRATION and HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE MARCH 22, 2010

Addressing the process, benefits and future of harmonization, the meeting will include a report on the first P3G harmonization process drawn on 50 studies from 18 countries. Challenges and opportunities in achieving the concrete harmonization of data and samples will be addressed and will lead to an action plan for finding practical solutions. Accordingly, the general focus of the meeting will illustrate the potential of pooling data and how this process can benefit biobankers around the world. By identifying and analyzing scientific questions and drawing on the harmonization platform, participants will be able to contribute to the next stage of progress in the harmonization process.

A draft agenda will be posted on the P³G website in the New Year and a final agenda will be distributed in the March newsletter.

PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION CHANGE The meeting (which had been scheduled to take place in Quebec City) will now be held in Montreal at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel. We hope this change in venue will make it easier for members from around the world to join us. We are also pleased to offer extra-curricular activities for those interested in exploring the Quebec region; details can be found below.
